Experience one – Alpaca Meet and Greet Opportunity

Would you enjoy spending some time with these delightful animals and perhaps learn a bit about them?    Our Alpaca Meet and Greet experience offers a relaxing 1-hour opportunity to get up close to these fascinating animals.   We will provide a brief background to their history, traditional uses and temperament,  along with a bit about their care and husbandry requirements.  Most importantly you will have the chance to get up close, interact with them and take all the photos you desire! If you would like, you can also explore the joy of their super soft fleece and discuss some basic spinning, yarn and felting opportunities.

So if you have an hour free and want a story to tell at the next family gathering,  grab a couple of friends, the kids or granny and book a visit today.

What to expect:

This is an outdoor experience so dress for the weather and wear sensible footwear. NO open toes shoes are allowed.  A short walk from the car park is required with some uneven terrain.  We offer a table with deck chairs and sun umbrella for shelter.  For those with accessibility concerns, please check in advance of booking as accessibility is bumpy but manageable in dry conditions and can be difficult otherwise.   A safety briefing is provided.   This is a guided and supervised visit.  Children are very welcome but will need adult supervision at all times.
